Artist Statement
My art deals with the psychological,
the psychotic, and the whimsical. It
generally reflects the darker side of
my nature, although sometimes it is
quite funny. My people are alien
beings who step from inside the man
standing at the bus stop or the nurse
at her station. They might be a
lawyer making a telephone call.
They might be the woman next door.
They might be your landlord or the
TV personality in his room by
himself. They are people alone,
although they are never alone; they
always have a partner or partners.
To the actor, these are repertory
characters. To me these are
personalities I play with on dark
nights and rainy afternoons when the
lunch truck doesn't come and the TV
Is out.
